Pin It Forward UK – How Pinteresting!

I know we’ve been a bit “horizontal” around here, but today I’m super excited to tell you about Pinterest. As they’ve only just officially launched in the UK you may not have heard about them yet (If you have…great!)

So Pinterest is a great way of curating things from around the web. It allows you to create virtual pin boards that you and you alone can create on whatever you love. Create a board on any topic you want and pin things from around the web that you like about that topic.

Pinterest is also a wonderful way to find inspiration, using the search tool you can easily find great examples on any topic. What I like about this is that these images are hand picked by Pinterest users, not just generated by some search engine algorithm. Looking to redo our kitchen checkout the first thing we did was search “modern kitchens” on Pinterest. Say you’re looking for somewhere wonderful to visit check “places to visit” pin those you like to your own board.

We work with Photoshop and so we curate this board with techniques, tutorials etc, because pins link back to the source we can always go back and read the article when the time permits. Absolutely the best way to bookmark web pages especially with visual cues.
